Scar Tissue

Well I got a few books for Christmas and I've already finished reading one. Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis was a fast read for me. I've listen to to RHCP since 1991-92 and have always enjoyed their later music. I was really taken aback to read about the continuous hard drug use by Anthony throughout the his documented journey. Though he has battle to stay clean over the last twenty years, I fear that he hasn't fully walked away clean to this day. I wish him the best and pray that tomorrow he can stay sober. But the book was great it really reveals insight into the making on the chili peppers. It shines light to various meanings to his lyrics over the years. Unfortunately it didn't reveal my seeking of what the heck "Huckleberry" references to in his songs. My only guess is he is referring to Hillel Slovak. Anyway if you have ever enjoyed the peppers then I can recommend the book.
